Animated Tea

November 12, 2003

Tea with Amy was wonderfully animated, mainly because I had way too much coffee today. Twice I asked the Tim Horton’s ladies for some hot tea, and twice they served me coffee instead (this is what I have to put up with after my favourite tea place was closed down). It was probably the excess coffee that caused me to rant like a maniac and made Amy to think I was “weird.”

But before we settled down for tea, we went on a long and unsuccessful hunt for Jason. He was supposed to be in a Senate meeting, so we planned to show up and enjoy some free coffee at the school’s expense. Our plan was abruptly changed when we found the Senate doors locked and Jason nowhere in sight.

After giving up on the search, we talked about our nameless comic, and everything seems to be coming together. I want the comic to be a satire of life at Laurier and I already sent Amy some ideas. Hopefully she’ll find them funny; my sense of humour is sadly misaligned (which could be funny in its own right).

But not as funny as this.

But they do help repel the blame!
