Moaning for Faflak

Around Trevor words are jabbed, not spoken, and sentences are screamed violently.
“Dr. Faflak is going away,” Trevor screamed at me last week. His words sounded like thunder, deadly. Apparently, Faflak wants to get away from Laurier and from the fucking fags in Stratford. Trevor’s words were like knifes jabbed in the fleshy centre of my consciousness.
And I felt indescribably sad to know he’ll be leaving. Not only is Faflak one of the most intelligent profs I’ve met, but he also saved my life.
“We should do something,” I screamed at Trevor today as we perched in the concourse. We sat hunched over like animals, eager to spring up with idea and fragments of thoughts.
“Nude photos!” I shouted waving arms in the air and nearly losing my balance. “We’ll give him naked photos of ourselves … a gift!”
Katie West was crossing the concourse and we waved her over excitedly. Somehow we convinced her to pose naked with us as a farewell gift to Faflak. Katie’s blush is the most marvellous thing I’ve seen — she has a crush on him. “I think he’s gay,” she said.
“Yes,” I said, “Everybody has a crush on him too.”
Let’s all take our clothes off and offer great gifts!

He is moving for personal reasons, to have a home that is not such a ridiculously long commute from his place of work. Plus they are probably paying him a shitload of money… but that’s just me speculating.
I’m not sure how he’ll receive the naked photos of his STUDENTS, but I suppose he’ll understand that it’s the thought that counts.
Best of luck Faf, I’ll miss you terribly and now this final year at Laurier is going to slizzity suck more than I had previously anticipated… and I anticipated it sucking a fucking lot.

And d00d, you’re so right about next year sucking a fucking lot! Most of my favourite people are leaving … naked pictures for all!
