New Gazebos Day
April 22, 2004
Today the sky was filled with perfect blue, not peals of thunder, which gave me enough reason to stop by the park on my way to Laurier. Things changed since I’ve last been there. Something must have compelled city workers to plant three gazebos in close proximity to one another. I imagine it’s good to have a few gazebos lying around just in case boys and girls get horny and overcrowd them while searching for an intimate place to breathe in each other’s shoulders.
But I’m glad the city decided to invest in too many gazebos. The one I photographed above was exquisite, and filled my head with longing and ideas. While resting beneath it I figured out, among other things, what my novel should be about and how I can create a knowledge-sharing system on ClubLaurier. Let’s plant gazebos for everyone — they fill empty minds with staggering ideas.

Sharing the silent solitude and sky vision- so nice!
and perhaps your constructive impluse will encourage creative impulses- so nice!
I was also wandering through the park yesterday.
It did seem rather crowded, structure-wise.
But was nice all the same.
