Death of an Exhibitionist

Despite all the shouting and all the endless talks about transparency, the Students’ Union remains a profoundly secretive institution. Though I always believed that information wants to be free, that Truth should be shouted from rooftops, I find myself uncomfortably gagged (and it’s only my 4th day in office). This is slowly killing the exhibitionist inside me. Quick, somebody should open another orifice and let out Truth!

The information was kept in camera until an hour ago when this press release was put out — I’ve been quite put off by the lack of transparency in this case.

As far as I know, the reason for Chrissy’s resignation is no longer in camera so I can tell you what I know (which isn’t much):
She had to resign for personal reasons — her family needed her and she couldn’t balance both her role as VP and her family obligations. She had to resign through she wasn’t happy about leaving WLUSU. That’s about all that the Board has been told and we accepted her resignation.
