Tell Them Your Project Failed Day

November 30, 2004

Stand on your chair and tell them you don’t like the way things are going: your writers disappeared; your editors fled the city in terror; your publication didn’t produce either content or porn. “I’m tired,” say, “and I’m losing the online revolution.”

Hey, love your blog - you make me laugh! :)

I found you on the diarist.net forum - making a bookmark.

Have you heard of B.E. yet? I tripled my readership with it. Your blog would be a great addition to the community.

Keep writing!

Thanks for the comment Annette — I’ll be sure to check out B.E. sometime when exams are done.

And Mike, those are lies! It is perfectly possible to do interesting things with online publications — it’s not hard to organize things as long as the volunteer base is there. For instance sites like Salon.com, Slashdot and Wikinews don’t have any problems getting organized and producing content.

But don’t worry — I have a few ideas I want to try out in January. The revolution can wait until then.

It’s definitely possible, working for insidepulse has taught me that.

You might want to look into some DEADLINES though, as they can really help people to move their asses
