Here’s further evidence that student politics are messy:

• Presidential candidate Matt Gouett has made such a strong impression during the residence tours that he may be asked to resign his current position as the vice-chair of the BoD.
• It’s true: election posters are dull (and so are many of the platforms).
• Laurier politics were more amusing in the 1980’s when Zoltan the Destroyer won a seat on the BoD. “Let’s build a time machine,” Sherry says.
