Item 1. Despite last year’s debauchery, on April 1st I’ve been asked to chair two sessions at the Interdisciplinary Arts Conference. The conference is phenomenal — come and be academic. And yes, there will be free food, booze, and groping.
Item 2. I have a road bike now — a nervous beast of burden that’s swifter and deadlier than my stolen purple monster. I rode it to school this morning with fear molecules in my mouth and tears in my eyes.
Item 3. Because photoblogs are sexy, I decided to reinvent my photo galleries: now everything’s chronological — if you want it to be.
Posted by Tudor at 06:04 PM in Various Positions | TrackBackMy session?! Fun! But if you make me laugh, I’ll hurt you…I lose focus way too easily. :P
Posted by: Lenna on March 28, 2005 at 06:04 PMYour photoblog rocks. Would that I had so much to photograph. :)
Posted by: martin on March 28, 2005 at 06:07 PMLenna, yeah, I guess it would be kinda weird if you break out laughing while talking about the Armenian Genocide. I’ll try not to make funny faces.
And Martin, when you’re running out of subjects you can sneak into our bathrooms and take pictures, especially since you have an alumni card ;).
Posted by: Tudor on March 28, 2005 at 07:10 PMI agree with Martin your photoblog, does indeed rock!
Posted by: jules on March 28, 2005 at 09:20 PMIt’s in the paul martin centre? Oh how I wish I could come :) Actually, I was going to enter an essay for it, but I missed the deadline - it sounds like it could be really ‘wicked’
Posted by: karen on March 28, 2005 at 09:33 PMKeren, it looks as though all the fun will take place in the Senate Chambers (near the PMC). And do come — it’s not like you have anything better to do anyway. And shame on you for missing deadlines (haha).
As for the photoblog, it’s nothing that you haven’t seen before ;).
Posted by: Tudor on March 28, 2005 at 09:37 PMIs it that time already?
Perhaps I should mail you some African Redbush Tea and Rum in my stead.
Posted by: zorianna on March 28, 2005 at 10:35 PMYour photos are great Tudor!
Posted by: Erica on March 29, 2005 at 01:55 AMYes, Zed, it’s that time already. Instead of African Tea and Rum perhaps you could mail your lovely self up here.
Erica — thank you!
Posted by: Tudor on March 29, 2005 at 11:18 AMHere’s a dumb question: Can we come any time? I have class until 11:30, would I be interrupting if I showed up after that?
Posted by: Kathy on March 29, 2005 at 03:39 PMSessions run the whole day, and you’re certainly welcome to drop in at any time. Stop by the Senate Chambers to see what’s going — and where the lectures are taking place (they’ll probably take place elsewhere in the school.)
I’d love to see ya. When I have times and locations available I’ll let you know.
Posted by: Tudor on March 29, 2005 at 03:43 PMIt might be fun to check it out… hm… too late to register?
Posted by: Ashley on March 29, 2005 at 11:16 PMYou don’t have to register to attend any of the sessions — just show up sometime during the day. It will be fun!
