Tags are fantastic — I just labeled some of my photos and I’m startled by the satisfying kaleidoscope of images they create. Wow! Fishes, signs, rocks, leaves, nakedness and more.
The effects of tagging are even more impressive on an open system, like flickr. Forget hierarchies — I’m now convinced that tagging will make our universe explode. Yay metadata!
