Oh dear, dear…I’m shaking my head with a mock grin, yet again.

I worked at a photo place before and if they look at the photos to colour correct them and stuff, they probably won’t print most of the naughty pictures. However if they just run them through the processor and don’t look, they won’t care.

yeah, I heard they look at all of the pictures … and that’s what worries me. i’m not sure how to go about printing naughty stuff …

any suggestions? publishing on the internet is so much easier!

Ever consider buying one of those photo printers that are out? Hewlett-Packard & Kodak are just a couple of examples that I am thinking of. Probably will be more cost efficient for you to print your own photos, anyway, unless you take like a 1000 photos during your vacation or something.

I’ve heard that usually what happens is they’ll print the stuff once — but if it’s bad enough, they put a little note saying they can’t continue to print for you (or something like that) — a friend of mine worked at a black’s in Burlington and she said that sometimes they’d print bondage pictures for people — so you never know!

I’d rint them for you, hell I have seen much more bizarre and um stuff I’m not into, colour corrected and all, too bad I only have a filmmachine. And tick thos photoprinter things get pretty expensive pretty fast but meh, Cana makes a couple of nice ones, the Pixma 3000 and 4000 and are somewhat cheap on ink

In the 80’s (when I was still young and beautiful) my boyfriend at the time, took a bunch of pics of me in the shower without my knowledge.
I went to pick up the photos and when I opened the envelope and started looking at them, the first thing I saw were my tits! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! No wonder the photolab employee was chuckling under his breath, when I paid for the pictures!

At Snappy Photo at King and University, they let you pick the photos you want to print yourself and don’t look. :)

and as an update, the pictures came out great — nobody said nasty things to me when I went to pick them up. Wheew.

Home photo printers are not more cost-efficient than prints-from-digital at most photo labs, unless you’re home-printing in economy mode on lined notebook paper (which really isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison).

Greg is right (as always). When you consider the price of ink, paper, and the printer itself the home-printing method turns out to be awfully expensive. And because you’ll be using an ink-jet printer, the quality will be a bit suspicious.

However, if you’re printing larger photos (say, 8 x 10, then it might make sense to get a home printer. It costs about $3.50 to print an 8 x 10 photo at a commercial printer — doing it at home is cheaper.

You’d be surprised how many people get those printers anyways, even after they are told how much ink (even the cheapest) and photo paper is, people are weird…and perverts

I once took a picture of my breasts (back in highschool) and my dad took the pictures to the lab to print (without my knowledge). Unfortunately, he looked at them… That was THE most embarassing thing that ever happened in my LIFE! LOL! Now I’m gun shy (or is that camera shy?)
