Elsewhere on the Internet

June 20, 2005

For a week now I’ve been too busy to read other people’s thoughts, and it looks as though I missed out on a lot:

Dave Alexander went through an emo phase and now sees his life as a character on Dawson’s Creek. “You can’t just keep emo pent-up inside,” he writes, chronicling his life at university.

“Dawson’s Creek is a fucking wussy show,” Borrelli replies, proceeding to tell us how his life at Laurier was like an episode on 24. The first two installments made me laugh even to the point of tears — satire is a painful thing, and Borrelli is a monster of parody. This is what he writes about me:

Tudor looks worried, and angry. He turns to face Berno. “There is no way we are canceling our appearances today. I’ve worked way too hard, beaten the odds to get this far. My grandparents came from Romania to escape their anti-nudist rulers, and I’m going to respect the democracy that they participated in by becoming its next President. No assassination threat is going to stop me from doing what’s right.”

Corwin is nostalgic about Laurier in his own way. Once he stalked a woman with a funny name and a sharp tongue who threatened to spit in his food.

In other news, Clemens became a judgmental dick; Lyndsey Jones now has a blog where she writes about emotional detachment; and Shannon writes beautiful things about tenderness and woolen coats.

Update: psst … Borrelli added another chapter to his saga.

heyo, thanks for letting everyone know that I am a cockface! I have noticed that links to individual posts on my site only work if you put a letter “a” in front of the post number though:

I don’t know why that is, I find it to be annoying and hella-ghey, but there ya go.
