Today at lunch I decided to leave work early and walk down the street to buy booze. The long weekend couldn’t had come any sooner — though my job is fulfilling, it takes a lot out of me. For the last few days I’ve been doing things I’ve never done before like writing press releases, newsletters, and fundraising manuals; my brain needs a lot of alcohol to process all this new learning.

When I got home in the afternoon, I had a few drinks and promptly fell asleep. I predict there will be more boozing and sleeping tomorrow. That’s what long weekends are for…that and pictures.
