Tumble

August 02, 2005

When biking to work on a sweaty Tuesday morning, nothing beats the sensation of crashing against the pavement at the corner of Erb and King while a dozen SUV drivers point at you and laugh. It feels better than sex. The blood on my sleaves was definitely worth it.

Owww….. I hope you’re OK. I say we have a national “piss on an SUV day” Anyone who drives one should be able to afford to clean it up anyway.

What, no pictures? ;)

I agree. Maybe even flaming dung bombs. Those are the most useless monuments to tacky human waste… Much like the usual sort of person who drives them. The ones that aren’t tacky human waste are merely oblivious and self-centered. Bleh. I’ll stop now. The subject of SUVs is somewhat touchy.

Well, given my vehicle, we all know what I think of SUVs.

As for falling off of the bike, well that plain old stinks, Tudor. Sorry to hear that :(

I used to live in terror that I was going to take a tumble, but I’ve mostly given up on caring in the last few months. Rather go for the glory and end up covered in blood and mud instead of saying “well, I didn’t try…”
Of course, I haven’t really TESTED this theory as far as I could have, so maybe I should just shut up now.
