You and Your Purple Veggies

At the market today, we asked the Mennonite girl about her peculiar vegetables. “What the fuck is going on here?” We said, picking up the purple peppers and mutant eggplants.

“That’s an eggplant,” she said. “The other one is a pepper that colour between red and green.”

“They’re not supposed to look like this,” I said, but she wouldn’t budge. At that point, I threw her down to the ground and said, “Call me uncle!” “Stop it, that hurts,” she said as I poured honey on her shoes.

(Note: this is my first and only attempt to provide Corwin with the Mennonite/honey porn he’s been craving.)
