News of the Moment

August 15, 2005

Let’s keep this quick:

  • First, the social(ist) committee has its first outing today — come make art in Waterloo Park at 6:30 in the evening. “Hopefully, we’ll make people think/laugh/cry/feel happy when they come across [our random acts of beauty].” (link)
  • Second, I just sold my first set of prints and I’m excited. Yes, now you too can order your own prints either from my gallery or from my Flickr photostream. $15 for a 8” x 12” print — it’s so worth it!
  • Third, Katie West is blogging about her adventures in Taiwan. Because she’s wonderful and I had the biggest crush on her, you should read what she says. (link)
  • Last, there’s a photoroam tonight in New Hamburg. Our last photoroam was too much fun not to do it again. (link)

Grats on selling some pictures! WTG! And, hopefully I’ll see some of the regular posters tonight at Waterloo Park. I’ll bring feathers and glue and big, colourful beads… And maybe I’ll go out and treat myself to sushi first. Yipeee(:

Somehow we (photoroamers) ended up stuck in New Hamburg. Shit. I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it.
