I’ll Cook You A Delicious Cow
December 16, 2005
Alysia struggled all morning with bovine essences to produce the tastiest roast beef I’ve ever tasted. I arrived home in the middle of a snowstorm hungry and in love, and she feed me meat with sweet potatoes. Sherry and Laura were there too, and soon our feast of friends degenerated into laugher, silliness.
“If I had a kid,” Alysia said, “I’d name it Tugboat Jemima.”
Later, once the snow stopped falling, I took Laura’s hand and we went for a walk to talk about snowmen. We’re planning to build an army of naked snowmen on our lawn tomorrow. Cow protein filled us with inspiration, madness.
