Mr. Plowman
December 16, 2005
After I bitched repeatedly about London’s icy roads, the city finally decided to take action. Last night the city council abolished winter. Thus, by nine o’clock this morning, despite a night of heavy snowfall, all streets and sidewalks were obsessively plowed and someone was going around shaking snow from the trees.
Way to prove me wrong, City of London.

Yaay for a combination of efficient snow removal and warmer winter temperatures! Which, by the way, the improperly-sealed window facing our bed has promptly decided to respond to by drip drip dripping melted ice on the sill.
