Smoking can kill you

I’ve always wondered if half of the psychological addiction of smoking is that it is a subsumed urge to commit suicide? You know that it’s killing you, but it’s a way of putting off doing it ‘for real’ so that you can go on with your life… More socially acceptable than throwing yourself under a passing car…

I have always thought that smoking is slow suicide too.
