Monkeys From Space And Other Love Songs

March 19, 2006

The London night throbbed with booze and music. The band on stage pounded our ears with overwhelming renditions of Elvis songs, causing us to happily twitch in our chairs like mad creatures. On stage, a darker version of Dick Cheney played a mean saxophone, only pausing occasionally to smash two sticks together with considerable violence.

We did not understand, but were deeply moved.

The guy in the back of the Wortley Roadhouse might take issue with your spelling in the photo caption. He was the one that kept yelling, ‘that’s saxo-ma-phone!! Saxomaphone!! We want more sax-o-ma-phooooonnnnne!!!!” most of the night.

I think I saw him dancing with the gorgeous mullet-tassled coral-lipsticked cougars later on. They were delightful (and so hot).

In regards to being deeply moved at concerts and dancers, we forgot to see the Sunday Country concert at the Cherry Hill Plaza today!!
