The whole photography class went out to Rockwood on a grey, lifeless Sunday. Simon and I were groggy and gorgeous after train rides and dreams of abandoned places, so we spent most of the morning hiding in the woods and taking provocative pictures of each other while being violent.

After a while, we decided it was time to commune with nature. I jumped in bacteria-infested water with my camera to hunt for giant, carnivorous spiders. The rest of the photography class watched from the shore, not daring to take the plunge. Losers. Sure I got my balls wet, but it was definitely worth it.
