The new place lacks a shower. Entirely. The kitchen faucet leaks and the stove won’t turn on. The fan in the windowless bathroom does not work.
But the apartment makes up for all of its shortcomings by having glorious windows, sunbeams, puppies wrestling on the carpet. Who needs faucets, showers, warm meals when your days are full of sunlight?
